For the first Intro to Drawing project, we were asked to group ourselves in to a group of 6 ( Sue Hwa, Anna Neo, Me, Qila, Pei Kei & Claudwie), choose between the type of drawings given ( Architectural Drawings, Interior Architecture Drawings, Planners Drawings, Product Design Drawings, Quantity Surveying Drawings, Landscape Architecture Drawings, Engineering Drawings, Mechanical & Electrical Drawings ) and prepare a presentation using power point.
We need to investigate and study on the chosen drawing as a mean of communication, like how the drawings are communicated between everyone involved. We were also very lucky to be chosen by Ms. Ida Mazlan to be in her tutorial group throughout the semester.
We chose Landscape Architecture Drawings to be investigated on. The information gathered must show the types and functions of the drawings, process, stages, examples of the use of the drawings, etc.
Reflection
We worked together as a group to gather all the information needed. We also discussed on how we wanna present it and prepared the powerpoint slides together. I obtained a lot knowledge about landscape architecture drawings and why it is important. We also brainstormed to prepare our slides in a more creative and more understandable way.

Project 1B: Measure & Diagram It
This project introduces the key people in the built environment and how drawing conventions and calculation is used in the field. We need to explore and understand the relationship of key people in the built environment and how the application and complexity of drawing convention and skills are applied in the practice as a means of communication.
We were given a location/site within the campus according to our tutors. Different groups under different tutor gets different sites. We then need to take measure and observe the given site. We need to record enough measurements of the site that allow us to produce plans such as, floor plan, site plan, etc. We will need to draw all those plans on butterpaper or A3 artblock.
We must include 1 Key Plan, 1 Location Plan, 1 Bubble Diagram, 1 Site Plan, 1 Circulation Diagram and 1 Floor Plan as presentation drawings in 1 A1 board or 2 A2 board to present to our lecturers. The presentation board must also include the title, a brief introduction, annotations, scale, measurements, labeling, and proper symbols.

Final Board
Reflection
Throughout this project, I learned to record and measure the site, how to draw plans, what are the uses of different kinds of plans, what is presentation drawings, how are they composed and much more. It requires us to do some research through books and the internet to understand and present the drawings in a correct way.

Project 2: Orthographic Drawing
This project is quite similar as Project 1 B but focuses more into the site's details. We were required to choose a 10x10M (could not exceed) site from Project 1 B's site.
We must also present our drawings in the form of presentation drawing on 2 A2 boards. We need to include 1 floor plan, 2 elevations, 1 section and 2 detail drawings of our site on the board.
As usual, the presentation board must include the title, a brief introduction, annotations, scale, measurements, labeling, and proper symbols.

Detail Drawings
Reflection
This project is the hardest of all. There were a lot of details that we need to include in the plans. I researched about the details drawings through books and the Internet to make sure that it was drawn in the correct way. I'd also improved my understanding on all of the types of plans which allows me to produce accurate plans to be revised on. Besides that, I obtained knowledge about how and what to observe and record for the elevation and section drawings. I felt a great sense of accomplishment and a lil bit more like an architecture student now.
